No. Thats the point of the dual sheath pulley, to restore the 2nd belt on the waterpump that gets eliminated when you ditch the airpump. If you're still running an airpump, you already have both belts on the waterpump and thus can't fit a 2nd belt on the alternator.

my FD pulley has an "extension" off hte back to serve as a spacer on the drive-shaft. is this normal? because most of the dual pully ones ive seen do not have this extension.

It comes ready to install on teh FD alternator, no spacer needed.
The FC alternator uses a small spacer ring and then the pulley parts (they are in halves) go on top of that.
The FD alternator uses a single pulley with the spacer made into it, and no spacer on the shaft.
Banzaitoyota's pulley works the same way.
I did notice that I had to run a couple of small spacer washers with mine, because the back of the pulley would not clear the front of the alternator case. However, I had my alternator and pulley apart and powdercoated, which sometimes affects the fitment clearances of parts. I could have ground on the front of the alternator a little but I just ran 2 of the thin copper crush washers that rx7s use for the oil cooler lines, and its working fine now.
