you do know you can remove half of the crank pulley, if you have removed PS and AC and air pump...

What intake and exhaust? Elaborate. Plugs and wires are not really power mods, IMO. Pulleys on their own are not that big of a deal. Remove the P/S and A/C (it's easy...trust me) and then mabye a nice new pulley (make sure and get a dual sheve alternator pulley though) and that may get you 5-6hp total. Also, if you get underdrive pulleys, it is a VERY good idea to get a FD or other more powerful alternator. Everyone knows the electrical system in an FC is less than great from the factory, and by adding an underdrive pulley that slows down the alternator turn speed, that can cause you car to have problems w/ it's electrics. And if you ever plan to put in a big stereo (heaven forbid) the amp will drain your battery faster than you can shell out the $85 for a new one. To spend $$$ on just pulleys: not worth it. Remove some weight first.

Pulleys are a good idea, but first take out your air pump and power steering, and if your like me and addicted to having more power take out your air conditioning. For the pulley kit I would call Rx7.com they will have everything you will need and can help you with install if you have any questions.

I still say that it is not worth $125 for the 2-3hp gain that you will see. Look at the heavily modified 13Bs around here. Notice how many have pulleys? Not many. The stock one is just fine. And if you do get rid of the P/S and A/C...GET A DUAL SHEVE ALT. PULLEY!!!! The belt WILL slip off the alternator under heavy throttle. TRUST ME! Did you know for every 100lbs of weight you remove, you can go .1 of a second quicker in the quarter mile? That is the real benefit you get from the A/C and P/S removal....Not more hp and all that jazz.

I've had my UR pulley on for a couple of years w/o any problems of belt slipping...of course the belt sizes on their site are wrong But I managed w/ a goodyear belt that seems to work just fine and is very nice and tight. I WILL be getting the FD alt. however bc I don't like 12.5 volts at night w all acc. on in the car and I might as well get the dual sheeve pulley while I'm at it. As just a power mod the pulley does little but low-end response was great, and the car revs with more authority...combine w/ an aluminum flywheel for the full effect!! RB's aluminum flywheel is fantastic!!

Pulleys are not worth that much money. Being difficult like i am i took a trip down to the junkyard and simply looked around other cars. i got a larger alternator pulley off of some ol' subaru wagon and a smaller crank off of some toyota. Total cost was $10.

Even though pulleys only add a few HP, the Hp they do give is across the entire powerband. Most mods only increase your topend but pulleys add power everywhere.

I wouldn't get rid of the power steering or A/C if i were you. You don't have any idea how crappy it is without it until you don't have it for about a week. Also, if you have a girlfriend that rides with you in the summer, and she dosn't want to mess up her hair, she will want the windows up and some A/C just a suggestion.

If this car is going to be a straight out race car, i guess it's worth it.
