puck clutch issue

I have a puck clutch in my rx and when I first start it up and try to take off it always kills.

I've tried feathering it and letting it out slowly. Even when i rev it to 3000 to try slipping it. It kind of wants to start going but still kills and the clutch makes this awful crrkkk sound. When i let it out fast the wheels spin out and then it goes brap....brap..... br and kills.

When my car is warmed up a bit though the issue kind of goes away but even then its always hard to start out from a dead stop. I can never drop it I will just spin out and the engine will kill.

yeah the ceramic material grabs better and can create a slight grind noise upon engagement. You will just have to get used to the new clutch.

How new is it? Mine was hell until it got broken in. I also have a lightened flywheel, which doesn't help thing any (except when I floor it or change gears, then it's awesome). Even with it fully broken in I still launch from a stop at 2700-3000 RPM and engage with a feather touch. Any time I let someone else drive it they invariably stall it the first time or two.

haha I always get a kick out of letting my friends drive my car they almost always stall it at least once. I've been told by a guy who drove my car that the clutch was very soft and extremely unsprung.

Thanks for the info btw slammed.
