projector project pics
here are before and after pics of my one off headlights, they are built using projector assembly out of a 2000 mercury cougar, and the fairings are made from foam (green flower aranger foam to be specific) covered with fiberglass....very lightweight and total cost for project is about $40 if you were to buy lights from a junkyard....

i'm digging the camo paint scheme, i might be doing that to my car until i can scrap up enough materials to do a full paintjob, great work on the lights, nice and clean, you get a gold star ^_^. I dont agree with the integra comment. What it looks like is evil thats what it looks like

Well, in all honesty, I think it looked better *before* you did the (Acura Integra) part. Infact, if you mold the flip-ups into the hood, and JUST had that (Camaro) look, I would be ALL OVER that. It would be WOW.

I really like the both of them. How much modification did it take to make the Merc lights fit and will they still pop up if you wanted them to? I've been wanting to do my own dual light mod, I never thought that something else would fit. I guess I need to step out of the box for a while.

ya, i agree with tandolla, they look exactly like an integra, but you know what, i gotta give you mad props for scrapping together an idea like that, +1 on the custom work. now, if you could find a way for the lights to sit flush on the bumber? (camaro style)

they look good, total cost is not $40 dollars though because you need the bumper with the space... although I guess you could just cut that section out of the stock bumper. how do the lights work? any night shots? are they adjustable?

did you just cut out everything between the bottom of your headlight and the bottom of your FTP lenses....
no the body kit i used had the cutout already there for a lazy eye look..
How much modification did it take to make the Merc lights fit and will they still pop up if you wanted them to?...
actually they fit pretty good into the stock brackets, and would have still popped up ,but i removed all brackets and the lift motor assemblies as they no longer need to pop up
how do the lights work? any night shots? are they adjustable?
they work great, the low pattern is half circles from straight ahead down, and the highs are pretty bright, soon i will put HID bulbs in,adjustment is by means of a wiretie at the back of the ***'y,you can see night video at: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1525012838

Cool. I am going to cut out some material on my bumper and look into projector lights some what similar the the first one, but not bring the cut out down as far.
And Wankel, did you do your paint with flat cammo paint or regular glossy auto paint? I've always wanted to do a paint job slightly similar, but a green tiger stripe (like old vietnam BDU's). Keep up the awsome work on yo car dude.
