Halogens are better looking in reflector housings than hid in them. You probably don't get flashed because you aimed them low which then ruins the ability to see far away. Also to top it off you are running 10k bulbs I bet if you run a set of silverstars and aim them correctly they would be far better than what you have.
They really need to give a fix a ticket to people who try to pull off this crap, it's hard enough driving at night I don't need some a-hole lighting up my rearview mirror or blinding me when I drive at night.
I actually run a 9003 HID kit in my Spectra. My kit though, actually has it's own D2R style shield that the bulb goes in, plus the shield of the factory headlight. Cutoff of these isn't as bad as I thought it would be honestly.
