Project Update 89 T2 - Image Intensive
Well it has been a while since I did an update here on my project so here are some pics of my current project.
89 T2 Upgrade listing.....
T04e
Haltech
K2RD radiator
Gauges and so forth
NPR FMIC
Etc.....
I didnt really take very specific pics but this is the general lot of them. If anyone wants more details or comments let me know. I have learned alot and have made alot of mistakes during this project. Only a few things left to do......I guess we shall see....

Yes the intake elbow is flipped via custom adapter but the oil neck will need to be cut down because it hits the air temp sensor.
The IC piping is custom with pipe bends from burnsstainless and silicone from bakerprecision.
2x 90 degree 6061 aluminum tubing
3x 45 degree bends 6061 aluminum tubing
Seems to work fairly well.

I can get a few more in a minute or so. Basically I bought 6060 structrual aluminum angle 4x4x.25 and just cut out the peices to fit. It basically makes a large U with a flat bar across the top just to keep it square. Then the radiator slides down into the bracket. I will go get some detail pics now though.

Looks great! It looks like you are using the XS Engineering manifold. I have the same one. Doesn't it **** you off how close the turbine housing comes to the lower intake manifold. Im not even sure if I can upgrade to a bigger housing due to how close they put it.

Radiator Bracket Details
All brackets for NPR IC, K2RD Radiator, and IC piping is made out of 6061 aircraft aluminum which is a bitch to work with but very strong. Not only should it be strong but should actually add more rigidity to the front of the car due to the 3 extra braces going from frame rail to frame rail.

1FastT2,
Its actually the cast one from SR but I think its just an HKS honestly. I am going to build my own after I blow up this setup out of 321 Stainless now that work has a waterjet. But yea nothing a little grinding didnt solve. Its not gonna be a show car so I am just going for weight and speed.
