Progress since my wreck.

Well I've been hammering away these past few days. Here is some progress I've made. The gap bewteen the bumper cover and the body WAS 2 inches. Now it's almost flush!

The spare compartment is caved in and pinched too much for me to straighten.

However I can get the spare in and out now fine.
I still need to head to a body shop to fix the hatch area. But I am happy with the progress I did myself. I do need to find the internal reinforcement though.

There is no room for a hammer in the spare well. The only solution is to drill a hole and pull from the outside. I could also use a small hydraulic cylinder to inside to push it out. That's how I did the rest of it (I used the car jack!). I don't have the resources to do this (no hydraulic cylinder or torch to heat the metal. However, I'm not too concerned with it seeing as the back is pretty flush now and I can get the spare in and out no problem. Some time down the road it will get fixed.
