Problems with fuel pump
I drove down school today and the car was fine but after class i tried to start up the car and it wouldn't i NOTICED that the fuel pump is not working cause is really loud is walbro 255 can anybody help me here in what to check or what to look for ?
The fuel pump was installed by someone alse

On a normal RX-7, the fuel pump only works when.......the key is HELD to START......or the engine actually starts and the key is returned to ON.......or the fuel pump check connector is jumpered and the key is turned to ON.
The pump on a normal car does NOT run when the key is just put to ON.
The first thing I'd do is see if the ENGINE FUSE is good/bad. It is located in the crew compartment fuse box. See the FAQ thread at the beginning of this second generation site for a picture of where the fuse is located in the box.
