Problem At The Track

hey guys , had my T2 for a week so i took it out to lapping day. i was impressed of how the car handled and moved compared to the others. 1 thing that i had a problem with ALL day is when i was driving the car hard (7K) it was REALLY hard to go in and out of gear. by the 5th lap and from then on. it grinded almost everytime when put in gear. i had a full tune up 3 days ago so the fluid was changed. when i drove the car home and was just cruising the car shifted fine. any ideas on what the problem could be?

burned up/overheated clutch or glassed flywheel, or boiled clutch fluid.
