Cool

why do you guys think should i just use this "SPLICE COONECTOR" the OEM wire Thermosensor "With" the DEFI thermosensor wire..? it should give me readings....
its better than drilling a hole in the water pump..?

So you are proposing leaving the stock water thermosensor in the back of the waterpump and splicing the wires from your DEFI gauge into the stock wiring??

If that's what you mean I really think you are going about this totally the wrong way.

EDIT: Even if it does give readings I doubt it is something that will correspond with your gauge.

Dude, did you even read what is being posted?

You cannot use the stock sensors. Period. Barking up the wrong tree. And splicing your Delphi sender wire into a stock wire is doing that.

Seems like you do not want to remove the WP housing and do this job right.

Project a little more than you thought?

Don't want to remove the WP housing?

The closest you can come to doing this with lazy in mind is doing what Riceeater suggested. And that is getting a T fitting...in the hole the stock coolant temp sensor goes (under oil filter). However space is TIGHT there and that is going to be sooo much trouble. Not to mention finding a metric brass fitting that will thread that hole ( I guess buy it from autometer).

Your like me though.... I tend to travel around my elbow sixteen times to avoid taken more stuff apart and doing it quickly the first time even though it involves more trouble.

When it would be so much easier and quicker to commit to the project and get it done right (Thank santiago )
