Unhappy Prob w/ wheel hop

What is wrong with my car if I drop the clutch at 4k and the wheels like start hopping up and down. It's really annoying. I'm thinking it's my shock absorbers!? It only does it sometimes when starting. It also does it when trying to drift turning right, but not when turning left.

Most likely wheel hop is caused by worn old struts. Do not keep trying to launch if you get wheelhop. Wheelhop can break diff mounts, and mess up alot of things back there. Get a good set of aftermarket springs/struts, and even a rear strut bar would help. This solved my problem with wheelhop completely.
