Pressure Sensor question 88 TII
I have been wondering why my TII has been idling like crap and having power drops while accelerating and come to find out it is because my MAP sensor is missing...! I have another MAP sensor that is N326 but my Computer is N333, will it work? Also what is an N333 computer? JDM? Whats it from? I would like to know that way I can fix this problem without having to spend $400 for a damned MAP. Please Help, Thank you,
Robert

N333 is a USA 88 Turbo ECU.
The boost sensor question: Connect the sensor. Turn the key to ON. Back probe the pin 2B and read the voltage. Compare it with the FSM readings for a turbo then a non turbo. Now you'll know what it is.
Can you write down the full number on the boost sensor? Maybe the Exxxxxxxxx number also
The n/a will read about 3.5 to 4vdc and the turbo 2.3 to 2.7vdc. The manual will have you cap the vac line to the sensor and check the reading at idle, but if you just turn the key to ON and read the voltage the reading will be very much the same. Just a tad different. But you can tell a n/a from a turbo sensor.
Anyway, the TURBO BOOST SENSOR PART NUMBER IS N318-18-211 and the non turbo BOOST SENSOR PART NUMBER IS N327-18-211 according to the parts fische..........unless i wrote the numbers down wrong.
The Atmospheric Pressure sensor part number is N326-18-211. It's in the interior of the car. Looks similar to a boost/pressure sensor found in the engine bay.
