Presilencer options?
Hey guys... i've been thinking about getting a custom exhaust made lately and want to get a little more info on presilencers. The RB one costs $225 new!! DAMMIT... are there any others out there at a little less price that have the same diamter?? Do you think that perhaps a midpipe would just be better in this case? I would like to be able to hear my music when Im just driving to work and crusin around. OH... btw, the mufflers I wanna put on here are Magnaflows (http://www.magnaflow.com/03mirrorstreet.htm#5x8) look at #14832 If it ends up that doin all this will cost about as much or more, then i might just end up getting the RB. I just wanted to be a little different ![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

The options for presilencers are pretty much as follows...
If you HAVE the ACV; RB N/A Presilencer
If you DON'T; RB TII Presilencer, Borla XR-1 muffler, any stainless steel muffler.
I've been told the Presilencers are well and good, but the SS mufflers cut the sounds just as much, and also make a lower exhaust tone.
