Power windows in 88 vert :(
Ok the other day, my power window on my passenger stopped working. It acts like the drivers switch is turned off but its on. The pass window still rolls up or down with the drivers switch. The passenger one just dont work anymore? Anyone have anything like this happen or is it window switch time ?

hey mike, did you pull the passengers switch yet and see if there is power and ground there?
If the passengers switch lock out is not enabled, then chances are the passngers switch contacts are bad for the 12V+ input. If the driver switch still runs the passengers window up and down, you know you still have ground working through from the drivers switch.
So pull the passengers switch and double check that there is 12V+ when the key is on... if there is more than likely its a bad switch.

I vote your passenger switch has dirty contacts
If you look carefully, you'll see how to pry the bottom off. Two snaps on either side hold the bottom on.
Pull off carefully and note how the copper rocker contact lays. Watch for the rocker switch's "spring and plunger" so you can put it back the way it came.
On each end of the rocker contact is a round pill looking portion (this is the actual contact). If you take a light file and polish the "pills", then I'll bet everything will work like new.
Though not a requirement, it would be good to put a light coating of electrical grease on it before you re-assemble.
This is a really common problem, but a really easy fix if you pay attention to how everything comes apart. Aside from the prying to pull the bottom off, you shouldn't have to force anything.

If I pull up on the driver's switch (roll the window up) and pull up on the pass. switch at the same time, the pass window will not roll up... Odd... But ill check readings at the switch tommorow.
Thanks

again switch contacts shoule be cleaned. I am partial (as also Hozz suggests) to using a little conductive grease on the contacts.
(I usually put just a touch in all the light switch harness contacts as well).
