power steering? steering angle?

power steering? steering angle? related to drifting
I was turning my 1987 TII FC into a drift car and im realizing that making slight movements to correct the car while sliding is quite hard with the current manual rack. So I was considering swapping out my manual rack for the power steering model, but a few things worry me. First I know the power steering rack has a much smaller ratio, I was wondering how much this difference really is, does or can anyone take pics of their car with power steering at full lock so I can compare how much the difference really is. Also I was considering relocating where the tie rod ends are located at the hub to greatly increase the steering angle, to make up for what was lost converting to the power rack, I was wondering if anyone has done this before, I was hoping someone might be able to share there experiences and how they went about doing that process. So do you think it would be worth swapping out the manual rack in favor for the power steering one? And would it give the car more steering angle than the manual rack, if I was to relocate the tie rod ends on the hub with the power steering rack?
thanks for any input and help,

The tire/driveline angle is going to be the exact samel lock/lock on the ps/ms racks. The stearing wheel to tire/driveline angle locl/lock is what the difference will be.
In other words adding a p/s rack isn't going to change your turning radius, only the amount of physical turns on the stearing wheel required to turn the wheel from complete left to complete right.
Most AutoX's prefer the m/s rack. I personaly prefer the p/s rack with the pump and hydralics removed.

Ah ok, I learn something new every day on this forum. Thanks a lot for your help, I to like the feel of the m/s rack but I think its hindering me when it comes to drifting and that's why im going to swap it out. I still would like to know of anyone who's relocated the tie rods to the hub, since I am defiantly planing on doing this I would like any tips or advice on how someone else has performed this mod.
thanks again,
Ryan
