power steering fuse

my car has no power steering, but it has a power steering fuse (and there is actually a fuse there)

why. and what will happen if i remove it?

does the car have an actual manual rack or just de-powered power steering?

I think that fuse also works other things. Just leave it.

i doubt either of the previous owners would have taken it off, but ps was optional on that year so im pretty sure is a manual rack (i will test this when i get a change though)

you don't need to test sheeat...

1) LOOK at the rack, does it have a spot where lines would bolt to it that now are filled with bolts? or no? no=manual rack...

2) does the wheel have 2.5 turns lock to lock or 3? 3=manual rack...

The 10A POWER ST fuse also powers the rear defroster relay, antenna relay and starter cut relay.
