power steering

I have a 90 gxl with power steering. What would be involved in changing my rpm based power steering to vehicle speed based power steering?

pump for speed sensing and make sure that your harness has the appropriate connector (it should)

a question i have is how would i know the difference whether I have rpm based or speed based?

if your power steering has a plug with several wires (I think iy is 6) coming out of the top of it, then it is speed sensing.
