But running 200-300 or so hp out of this shouldn't be too much of a problem with the proper accessories.
(Not that I am recommending a shot that big)

i was thinking maybe upgraded injectors (any sugestions to what?) upgraded fuel pump, maybe some intake porting, what would be the max sho you would recommed, and price range were talking about maybe $400-600. What do you think?

Instead, get a upgraded FPR, and a bigger pump.
Unless you get a clutch, at the very minimum, I'm not going to recommend anything above 75 hp.
You'll need to do a lot more for a 200-300 shot.
$400-600 is a pretty unstable nitrous set-up too. My kit will be priced around $700, and I will make no money off of them. I will provide receipts for this as well.

very nice! I think that it's about time that people started thinking about us poor N/A guy's. I am really intrested in purchasing a nos kit for my car. I think that is one of the only ways to really make power for us. at least with nos we can finally keep up with own blown counterparts!

I have a couple other idea's as well, but I don't need as much feed back on them. I'll keep you guys posted.
Don't worry... I still love N/A's, even though I am now boosted.

As much fun as it was doing the swap myself, I wouldn't mind a hand.

According to the guy, the tranny was out of an 88.
Wanna trade? I'll also throw in the auto from my 86

scathcart, ive done some serious thought about your kit, and i think that as soon as i get the money, i will be a sure buyer, infact i would like to reserve it from now, put me down for one if it includes everything to give my s4 na gxl 100+ more hp. give me the specs and the price, details, everything.

I run an aftermarket FPR, so tuning is a little easier on my car. I also have an S5 wastegate which is MASSIVELY ported.
In order to tune a nitrous setup, you need a constant fuel pressure. As fuel pressure increases relative to boost (at 10 psi of boost, you have 50 psi of fuel; at 5 PSI, YOU HAVE 55 PSI OF FUEL). Now, lets say you have your wastegate set at 10 psi... so you tune your nitrous setup for 50psi of fuel pressure. Under use, your boost creeps up.... 14, 15, 18 psi. Now you have to retune your fuel side and attempt to add extra fuel to compensate for the added boost.
It all becomes a nightmare of tuning, as the nitrous bogs down until the boost reaches the tuned pressure, and of course, since there is so much extra nitrous and not near as much fuel pressure, and thus as much fuel, the engine still runs lean.
My kit will run an independant fpr and supply from the engine so that the nitrous can be tuned at a set fuel pressure that does not depend upon engine vacuum/boost, and will not take away fuel from the injectors. This is an optimum setting, and easier to install, but you still have to deal with the varying levels of boost creep.
Due to the creep that would be experienced even with ported stock wastegates, I wouldn't want it on my head to have every customers turbo motor blow up under use of my kit. Since I cannot predict creep as it is relevant to each customers exact mods, I can not provide a tuning recommendation card like I could with NA's.
And thus I say... not on a stock turbo. I only predict the engines running lean and detonating, not from the nitrous, but from the boost creep without fuel compensation.
It's one thing for me to blow my motor... but another to easily allow many others to blow theirs due to my set-up.
If a haltech, fuel injectors, and tuning to 18 psi were existant on the car, though, yes I would sell a kit to a stock turbo car.

Lets say you have a car running 16psi with an extremely large wastegate (say 60mm... I doubt it will creep then) and a very well tuned fuel map and all the necessary parts to run that safely.
Then you have the two fuel nozzles hooked up to the nitrous kit that come online when you spray adding the necessary fuel to support the nitrous alone.
Wouldnt that solve 95% of the tuning problems? Or am I missing something?

I think the problem is that when you hit the nitrous, your boost levels rise at a much higher rate than normal, which makes tuning difficult because the way the car acts with and without nitrous is very different. I think thats what he was saying anyway, i could be way off
