That's kind of what I figured. I thought you were more into Drag racing, but this thread made me think you might have wanted to try something new. I bet once you get it all done and see how well the car handles, you will want to test it out.
You don't HAVE to drop the whole subframe for the rear bushings, but it makes the job easier. Especially if you plan to bead blast all of the equipment. Although I don't think the whole subframe will fit in your cabinet unless you got "the daddy." When I changed my rear bushings, the stock subframe to body bushings wee still in great shape so I left them on. And the rear differential mount bushings were also in acceptable condition. Your budget seems to be 5 times that of mine, so you'll probably change those too. Anyway you look at it, that is one fine piece of work you got there.

Im going to see if I cant get the rear sub frame in my cabinet. I use the the bead blaster I have at work which is like 5ft wide by like 6ft tall and like 4ft deep. Its pretty big. To tell you the truth, if I didnt have access to all the equiptment at work my car wouldn't be half as far as it is right now.

5x6x4'; it should fit. And those calipers look like a $3k aftermarket set now. Do you plan on painting them? I think I would leave them bare and just paint the Mazda logo and try to find gold colored rotors (Brembo?). But I'm sure you already have some crazy idea for that. And the red sway bar really stands out in the engine bay; well mine anyways. Your turbo probably gets all the attention in yours.

if your looking for a good brake pad, i recomed rotex pads. They cost about $75 for the fronts but im really happy with them. They are good cold, but when they warm up they are great. You can get them from the brake warehouse.

God, I wish I had a garage. My car needs so much work but Im not going to work on it for hours in 15 degree weather. ****! I hate winter!! Ill get everything in order as soon as it hits freezing. That seems warm at this point.

i have the koni yellow shocks and ground control coil overs and i like it when it is at full stiffness the car isvery tight and is feels very planted at high speeds and it handles the turns awesome and now i've had my car not running for about 3 to 4 months and i going to ask if the motor only need to be moved around with a wrench and just put some motor oil i the spark plugs and crank it over with the wrench on the front pulley what you think about that would that lubricate the insides good for start up and crank it over with the injectors disabled to make sure it reads oil pressure , and i have haltech and 1600cc secondary injectors a koyo radiator, it is a nice radiator for the 86-88 rx7 from the rx7 store i got it for 340.00

Auxiliary gauge installation, idiot cluster relocation, fix some cut and slightly messed-up wiring on the ignition switch, and a planned Brake Overhaul in April. The overhaul will include new Brembo OEM rotors, Hawk HPS pads, new master cylinder, Motul DOT 5.1 fluid, and rebuilt calipers.
