An extra gas tank would be a unique, yet, dangerous mod to do.

When I had Open differential and only my right wheel would spin I hooked my rear wiper fliud sprayer directly infront of my right tire and filled the wiper fluid tank with any oily substance I could find. Then I could do massive burnouts and left hand drifts all the time.

If someone could rig up the same idea I had about the oil sprayer on the car but just on a wider scale you could get an oil slick you could put behind your car and leave it behind you on a corner and the cop chasing you would run off the road!!

I've always wanted a long trap door under the back of my car that ran along the bumper that would open when you pressed a button and release large black sharp caltrops, which would pop enemy tires.

Enter Spyhunter...

My buddy who went to the air force academy and is about to start flying B52's told me they had a long discussion in his class about ram air, since he's a car man. He told me that after tehy did all the math (which he showed me) RAM AIR does no good until you're going over like 200 MPH plus something about the intake has to be bigger than the pipe and has to be some weird shape not just a scoop on the hood or cone filter.

Me too! But I used tyvek window striping stuff. It is 4in reflective film with tar on the back. I heated it up with a tortch on the back and then stuck it over the cracks :-)

Does my moodifyd underbelly tray count?

I did this out of necessitiy: A Custom AN steel-braided oil line that goes from the turbo to the block(the top position). When I removed the rats nest I was trying to break the weld and the actual line broke on the turbo oil feed. So I custom ordered length, adapters and stuff from Jegs, spent around 100 and got this nice looking AN steel brided line going from my turbo the block, looks kinda cool. Wish my car wasn't sitting at my grandparents house back in MO(in FL now baby!) otherwise I'd take a pic.

I own a motorcycle that actuallly has a ram air system OEM.. It varies the throttle response based on the air flow from the ram air... SSo the 200mph thing is not exactly true.. read a little info on the WS6 and the HP gains...

A few 'unique' things I did:

- Cut the rear speaker towers off (as part of my "weight loss program")

- Stencilled my team logo on my third brakelight, masked it off then painted it body colour so it lights up reading SUISLIDE when the brakes are on... did the same on the front driver side indicator light.

- Moved my heater/climate control unit to the glovebox to make space for gauges, switches and the computer screen to go in soon

- Spaced the rails on my driver seat by about 1/2" to give a better driver vantage point (I'm 6'0", I raised it as high as I could go and still have clearance for my helmet. I like to be higher up where I can see more around me, but maybe that's just me, most people seem to like being on the floor. *shrug*)

- Stripped the entire car to a bare chassis and painted it -- inside and out -- metallic GOLD!!! (think Top Secret)

- Solid mild-steel motor mounts

Bunch of other little things not really worth mentioning...

I have the mAD TyTE jDM hood risers, call me rice, but I like them. Also, you cant see my FMIC, and with the NA hood, I can tell people im N/A ;-)

I had custom intercooler piping made out of aluminum, thanks to a friend at BoostLogic

I gutted the **** out of my car, windows, door panels, sound deadning, and its a street car (not my daily). And I was just toying with the colors in the back, playing around. And I do have a battery box, its just not on in that pic.

ram air makes about 1psi at 100 mph. it is exponential, so more like 5 at 200.

i have my custom 2-stroke MOP thing, like this thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...9&page=1&pp=15

getting ready to make aluminum treadplate door panels and radio surround

made my own short shifter with delrin bushings

making custom rotor shaped aluminum rx-7 badges

made my own 3.5" ss exhaust

thinking about using the stock clock as a wideband readout

getting ready to make my license plate springloaded so that when i push a button a solenoid releases it and it snaps up inside the spare tire area.

oh yeah and i used various pieces of a road sign to make my body kit brackets. thats a hell of a untapped resource right there.

pat

well the gray blue interior was ugly, so my sleek black/ dark gray is alot nicer especially at night with the amber gauges. the door panels look nice, i got some thick black (kinda ruff) material for the bottom since that has some wear. then i ordered a real soft pitted fabric with black woven in, and i think it looks great.
i also lightly sanded the top plastic piece and painted it black with clear, so it really makes the gray stands out. most people just think i got black interior paarts, they dont even notice that its my original interior.
