well... when i said embarassing, does 4.5 look ok lol. the price was right and i didnt check the size until after i baught it (no really... i swear!), and do you think a shop would cut then weld on a smaller tip? for a decent price?

They sound pretty good. THey are kinda loud but you could put presilencers right before each muffler if you wanted to. I have a presilencer where the cat is supposed to go and it made it a lot quieter. As far as how big they are the other day I had my shoes off and I could stick my hole foot in there, lol. I was kinda pissed I didn't have the cash for good mufflers but when the guy put them on I really didn't mind the look at all.
I'll get better pics when my car is clean and you can actually see the exhaust.

Did you replace the whole y-pipe and use a universal hanger?

no I kept the y pipe and the muffler shop added spacers from the original y pipe (where old mufflers where cut off) to the mufflers making them fit pretty well. I believe they added the universal hangers to each can and now they are tight barley any play and knock on wood have held up great to the heat of the rotary turbo engine however I'm still working out kinks in my car so I haven't been driving it that long with them on. Oh yeah and also I had the guy tuck those bastards as far up as possible because I didn't want a big fart can showing, he was kinda supprised because he said all the honda guys (ricers) that go in there tell him they want to see what they bought so they have him put the muffler part all the way forward where your only supposed to put the tip. I'll snap a side shot in a sec.
