Stick it on the fan shroud, or mount it up front by the relays & etc.

yeah I got mine on the fan shroud right now but as soon as I go electric fan I will need to find a new place, probably where sonicrat said.

^^ nice^^ . I been wanting to change all my hoses red. i got a anodized red strut bar and will be using the duplicolor anodized spray to make my manifolds anodized red soon. I like the shroud idea, problem is i dont have one right now. Hopefully soon. I was thinking in front with the replays but the lacking of a solid mountign surface scares me. I was also considering to the right of the engine below where the power steering used to be but im afraid it might get too hot.

thanks, it's tuff because there are not that many places to put it and where my intercooler/bov is it will be hard to place it where the relays are however everyone else I've seen has done this with pretty good success. all you really need to just two bolts through the msd and it will be sturdy.

No there arent too many placed to mount it. Some have hiden it under the paneling betweek the rad support and rebar if you want it stealth. There just isnt much room for it to stay close to the coils otherwise. here is a link with the crane but you get the idea

Well on another note where is the best price on the msd and what is the exact model most people are using??? not to thread jack but.......

Everyone is using the 6A model, prolly their most popular, i got a 6AL before i learned that i couldnt use the rev limiter with a rotary but it worked just fine. i placed my box on the fan shroud however my crappy stock mazda radiator blew because of the stupid plastic on the top and got very hot coolent all over the msd box, it never worked again so if your gonna mount it make sure the rad is either in really good condition or is all metal.

well if your patiant enough they have them on the forum for as low as 60 bucks some times. Just cruise the forsale section on a regular basis and do some searches.
