Possibly purchasing RX7
In specific, a 1988. My friend was telling me some things he heard about rotary's, and i got curious, so i came over here...
I understand the basics of how a rotary works, but he was telling me things like the engine floods in the winter practically all the time and the engine also floods if you turn the car off less than 10 minutes after you turn it on?
Dont bash me for being clueless, i just want to make sure i know what im getting into.

The flood is due to dirty injectors sometimes, its not a horrible thing, the cars can be maintence and money hogs, but then again so can any car, just read up in the forum, make sure to read the arcives, and browes howstuffworks.com for more info on the rotary concept itself

As with any car of this age there's going to be the odd problem. The car is not inherently a problem.

im prepared to sink money into a used car to bring it up to my standards, thats a given, hehe
i just wanted to know if driving this thing daily would be more trouble than its worth, and if i could drive it in the winter. Looks like ill be getting the 7

Mine was a Daily Driver, but then its motor got confused and started to blow coolent out the exhaust and exaust out the radaitor
Oh well, it will be a Daily driver next spring or maby this winter again
