Thanks evil

But really it does not say if I have to go from the bottom or the top. I can't even see the bolts holding the manifold anyhow.

Do you want to come up and help me

Just kidding.

Hey IAN, its piece of cake....

remove exhaust/downpipe
disconnect intake/filter from your turbo
remove 4 bolts holding turbo on exhaust manifold
and once u`ll have turbo out, just remove 4 lugnuts from exhaust part of turbo, then u`ll easy see your wastegate.....

Somewhere they must have exact weights for the counter weights. Maybe you can weight it. But again its installed!!

Did you install proper rotors or did you even crack the engine?

Ok..........

Anybody that says porting the wasgate is easy is nuts or just a good mechanic. I hope I didn't bent to much or break to much.

It took me 4hrs just to take the turbo out and I have no idea I will jam it back in

Hopefully after this it will not overboost to much. If not to storage it goes, rob a bank and buy my new turbo

But on topic I hope to make it to the next gathering in a big way. Way to much fun.

So removing the AVC or whatever might make it easier... That of course is after I ripped it apart.
