To port, or not to Port
That is the question.
Ok so I'm putting a rebuilt S4 turbo with ported waistgate (stock flapper) and I'm going to be installing a corksport DP with it to a duel 2" catback with 2.5" Y. stait through mufflers. I think its a walker dynomax catback from the looks of it.
So heres where I'm curious about. I want to match port the turbine inlet for more flow. 1st question do I need to toss the twin scroll, or can I keep it. next question if I do this will I get excesive boost creep with this setup.
The main reason I really want to port it is theres some internal cracking that would basically be gone if I ported it.

There's really nothing to port match on the turbine unless you ditch the twin scroll. With your wide open exhaust, I think twin scroll would have minimal effects so if you do want to remove it and make both runner openings the same size, then go for it. It's going to be a 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other situation.
