i will bet you replaced you stock stereo huh? if you did newer cd players require more of a ground than the stock radio, you can't connect your new cd player to the stock ground wire, its over loading the system, find a nearby bolt and use that as your cd player ground and that should do it.

There is no stock ground wire on the Mazda radio wiring.

I think you are referring to the people that do not read the FAQ for FC sticky thread and hook up the aftermarket radio's ground wire to the Mazda lumination wire behind the radio.

I am also assuming that the person that started this thread is mistaken and all the parking lights are out, rather than just the rear lights.

If that is the case, and the dash light still work, your headlight switch is probably burnt out. You will need to replace the light switch and light switch harness if this is the car.

This is also covered in the FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this section. It should be read before posting and before attempting to bump (as the bumps will just be deleted anyway).

You would have to remove the gauge cluster surround

I do have rebuilt light switches in stock right now at my website if that is what it turns out to be.

You still need to check the back of it. You probably only wedged the plug back into contact. But if it is burnt it will fail again (and be a potential fire threat).
