Duals FTW ![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Its HUGELY dependant on a number of things:
Taste
The bumper your car has (single exhaust on a dual exhaust bumper is ******* gay
)
Did I mention taste? (EDIT: taste also applies to the weight comment, because for the extra 20lbs...if that...I have from an extra muffler is enough to make me wanna toss it - the car either isn't a street car, or isn't anywhere near fastt enough
)
Which brings me to the point of "this poll is pointless". You'll get votes for both and it will still be up to you. If you'd searched and found the other 4 threads with polls on dual vs. single you'd have seen the pictures already posted and could make up your mind more easily already.
As far as sound goes:
<object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/go2IkwcuUsY"> </param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/go2IkwcuUsY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object>
This was prior to installing the nice flowmaser in the mid pipe which really richened the tone, gives it a lot more "rumble". In the configuration in the video I drove a 6,000+KM road trip and never once suffered from ringing ears even after eight hours in the car.........IAN and his APexi single exhaust (when he wasn't running his silencer/butt plug) was a different story.

I have dual exhaust and I prefer it. My last car was a '68 Dodge Charger and I put TTY Headers and 3" pipes, so dual exhaust has grown on me. Everyone who hears/see's my car comments on it and mostly the way it sounds... especially compared to a stupid cherrybomb on a civic.

I think the single is better performance wise, but the noise can be crazy.
I personally like the look of duals a lot more than a single.
Main reason I got rid of the Apex'i single I had on my 10AE, I seriously had to almost shout to talk to my wife.

I used to love dual. But then I went single and prefer that much more. The noise doesn't bother me and neither does the empty hole in the bumper. Single ftw, unless it was dual re dolphin tails. That would be a different story.

Nothing wrong with saving some weight here and their. I like the sigle look better, always have. MY TII has the rb 3" turbo back exhaust, not loud enough for me. I like the GXL with the race pipe and apexi N1. Going to put on the rx7store 3" turbo back single next week, cant wait. Oh and ringing ears is awsome.
