I have a 1987 mazda rx7 turbo 2 and it wont start. I checked the fuel pump and it works fine, I smell gas and every once in a while it will almost start but then nothing. I have tested the distributers wire and plugs and all work fine. when I try starting it gas leaks from the passenger side underneath the car. I don't know if the fuel injectors are clogged or what. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

whoa. gas leaks are not good! don't even try to start the car till you figure out what the leak is. it might be the PD damper, which is on the fuel rail.
once you fix that. it sounds like your car is flooded.

K well yeah that fuel leaking should be looked at ASAP
But after that try this its a Basic unflooding procedure:
1) Pull your EGI fuse under the hood
2) Turn your ignition while holding down the accelerator for 15 seconds, AT THE SAME TIME
3) Replace EGI
4) Try to start car
It may take several attempts, It took me 6 tries but she started up, and now shes running beautifly now
If this doesent work your going to have to try the Complex version. This all can be found at www.rx7.com under the tech section
Goodluck!
