that engine lived a hard three months when i had it road racing at mads, drag racing twice a week for three months, brakestands, top speed runs..... you name it finally gave out at englishtown and still ran a 13.8!!! i think high air temps killed the engine, POS top mount intercooler!!!!

Ok folks, education time for me. Please point out the areas in the pics that show that it's shot. The first obvious sign I saw was scoring on one face of the rotor, as well as a busted apex seal.

i couldn't take a good pic but tip of the rotor where the apex seal goes was also chewed up. the side housings one has nice grooves. the one rotor housing has gouges. i have the perfect blown engine

didn't sputter at the end of the run i let off gas and car shut off! i thought TID popped off again but no luck.... pulled plugs cranked woosh.......woosh missing a woosh

It is.
I remember seeing some pistons that were used in the touring car championship. You won't believe that the pistons were cracked and the broken crank was held in place by the crankshaft. The thing still ran and won.
