I hope Im keeping them, Id really like to get the issue resolved about them rubbing up front. Just pisses me off I paid almost $1500 for a set of wheels that dont fit right

Im not decided on the wing yet either, so if I decide to not use it, Ill let you know.

If you would've read the posts, youd see I mentioned a few times the reason the car is sitting that high.

Hmmm.... I'd personally get spacers. I think you already have TOO much gap in there, raising it up would just look silly to me. I liked your last rims better too

I'd bitch at whoever told you those were supposed to be 36mm offset cuz that just screwed you.

The car actually is pretty low when the engine/tranny/exhaust, etc are in it. The point of coilovers would not be to raise the car, but coilovers use smaller diameter springs/struts that stock style springs, so I would no longer have the issue of me rubbing on the strut.

Ok i've looked at your pictures a few times now and i think your wheels look great. i'm not the king of anything by any means so i really don't know about spacing on wheels or that stuff but i like the way they look.
Also when you get your wing done i think it'll be tight as hell.

And about your car sitting high, I know exactly what you mean. I took out the engine, tranny exhaust and all of that stuff too and my vert sat about 2 inches higher and looked totally messed up in a picture i took of it in one of my threads a while back.

But overall i think you're doin a great job, can't wait to see the finished pics.

That's true, the front springs (stock and most aftermarket) are really fat. hence why I had some rubbing up front on full turn with 40mm offset wheels and eibach prokit springs.

After the engine/tranny and everything is back in with coilovers at the same height as now, it'd probably fit really nicely.

Have you thought of whether you're going to get the wing molded into the body or not? I think that'd look really slick.

As for the color of my car, I really like the color, and am keeping it that way, black side mouldings and all. With my car being repainted , I have the option to change it any color I want, and Im sticking with stock IMO there is a very nice contrast between silver and a polished aluminum wheel. Im not really into the colored wheels. They dont look bad in some applications, but its not for me. Everything on my car is either polished, or painted metallic black. Just wait until I get some engine bay shots with my ceramic coated IMs
Hopefully the springs and the added drivetrain will bring it down to a nice level, where it should look nice. I agree the color is a good one. The wheels look nice, but I would go with a stock spoiler from a TII (or whatever other model they came on). That's what's on mine and I think it looks nice. The one you have on there looks okay, but it really starts youthinking about what other body modifications you are going to do, such as a really low front bumper cover and side skirts. With the factory wing, the factory body lines look good without extras. There's a few pics in my 'garage" that give a better look at the spoiler and how it looks on the silver body.

I know what that wing is...

It'll look great once it's molded in.
