I dont know if anyone read my last post but my car has been updated on the "ModShop" website and you can go there from >>> http://www.themodshop.org/images/RX7.htm <<< to see the up dated pics just a review on the parts bought, Paint (chevy silverado 2005 metalic midnight blue) gp sports body kit, lowering springs, white rims, low pros, racing seats, shaved body, grill in in the kit, custom shaving of the kit to go with the shaving of the car. look up my original thread on my car project for more details. the car is almost down once it is finished i will soon have pictures of the car with the rims on it and probabally drifting around something.
and i will be getting it tuned all fluids changed and refilled as well as everything greased up. does anyone think that a splitter on the front end of it would complement the bumper? (more pictures can be found on the website)

Looks good, but I whole-heartedly agree with -TAL-. Hell, I'd be scared to drive on the street with molded parts, especially here in pot-hole capitol of the world (I live in PA too). The only thing that I'd go for is molding the side skirts, keep everything else flexible and individual, especially for drifting.

The molding isn't as bad as you all think...that particular front bumper looks HORRIBLE when not molded onto the car. The side skirts are a must, and the rear bumper...fair game, but since everything else is molded on go for it. Somone post pictures of that front bumper NOT molded on...it looks terrible. Good work man, hope to see the updates in the future.

one of these reasons you have to mold these kits in is because they are copies of copies. Fittiment of aftermarket copies of body kits are always going to have fittiment problems. Best to just try and work with what you have by adding here and shaving their and going with it. And the guys above are completely right, a pot hole or and body roll under performance driving will crack the bondo and ruin the paintjob. Not to mention the weight it likes to add to your car. Good Luck

just for the record the front bumper is not molded, i realize that the side skirts are kind of risky to be molded to the car but, i love the look of it, and as for the rear bumper if it gets damaged its probabally going to be in a fender bender, and in that case the other person would have to pay for it so really the side skirts are the only thing i have to worry about, but as for right now the car is still not finished and i will update with pictures when it is, does anyone know any rim shops online that you can make payments on, because i wont have any money left after the car gets back because as soon as it gets out of the garage im getting the motor rebuilt, so makeing paymets on rims would be my best bet, so i dont have to go driving around with 14", 18 year old rims on a 7000 car project, ha, well guys i keep ya updated, later
