Mine are Corbeau forza's - very supportive and very comfy for me (5"10, 36inch waist). They are a more affordable option than recaro or sparco and they are well made and FIA approved as too. My only complaint, the brackets!! The Corbeau brackets are NOT true bolt in affairs as there was a bit of bending and grinding required. Thankfully, all hardware was included and they supplied quality stuff (usually aftermarket hardware is garbage). However, every sparco seat I've ever seen put in fit exactly

A harness bar or roll cage is the correct way to mount these harnesses but I do NOT use them on the street and I've never taken this car out on a track day (we've got an SCCA road race car for that, yea!). I got the drivers side harness to keep me in place @ the autocross and I got the passenger one to match hehe. Again, I do NOT use the harnesses on the street - they work well along with the seats to keeo me in place while autocrossing though.

Open call for anyone who has done a "sport seat" retrofit. I just pulled the whole interior of my 91 Turbo apart and pulled the seats out. I have the leather turboII seats and they are in great condition. I am just not a fan of leather especially the hard stuff they put in 80's and early 90's cars.
Rather than having them redone for 400$+ per seat I thought I might sell them and get a pair of these....

(no I won't be paying 814$ for them)
I was looking at and taking some measurements from the stock seats last night and noticed that the inside rail for the passenger seat seems to be at a pretty noticable angle due to the tunnel.
For thoes who have mounted aftermarket seats, how did the install go?
What problems did you run into?
What would you do differently?
What are the main hangups and solutions?

Yeah, It was essentially a plate (length of the seat from front to back) with a series of holes that allows the bolt on of the stock seat rail on one side and the actual seat on the other. These plates were mounted toward the median of the car. ie. both on the e-brake side. As for the stock rail to the seats, I drilled holes through them to accept the bolts. Very easy.
