Yeah.. i know im probably going to need a rad, however.. im going to TRY to drive around (w/o boosting the **** out of it) for the rest of the winter on the stocker (hey, it was 30 BELOW today w/windchill)
I know about the rad hose, right after i took that picture, i finnaly put coolent in it.. started it up, and watched the waterpump **** ALL OF MY COOLENT OUT of the back of the pump.. joy.. time to take it all back apart again
made my own gaskets from some fiber gasket stuff and waterpump gaseket in a tube stuff, doesnt leak anymore, and is all back together. Problem right now is S4 rad + S5 waterpump ='s no way to fill cooelnt system and no nipple to overflow bottle. Im giong to cut an s4 thermostat housing and put it inline in my upper hose to allow for both

Omg that's so ****** sexy. I wish I had the cash (and skills...seeing as how I would never be able to do this w/o sending it to a shop) to do that swap on my car. How much did you end up paying for the engine alone?

What is the difference between this motor and the one from the 3rd gen, I believe its called the 13B REW?
Do you use the cosmo RE engine becuase the motor mounts are the same and its better than the TII engine?
enlighten me, i have no idea

I used to think that the RE engine was actually the newest FD engine found in the 98 versions and stuff, and the REW was the older 93 engine. Obviously I was wrong.
