Don't worry about the manual. I've just been looking for street legal headlight replacements for a long time (all these jackasses running driving lights aren't safe) and was hoping that those would be the ticket.

That shifter is about the same height as mine. Works GREAT!

the reasoning behind why I want headlights rather than driving lights has to do with urban and rural safety. I want the wide and the narrow beam patterns so I can see deer in the ditches and people on the side of the roads. using driving lights rather than headlights is not very smart in a daily driven car.

For the sake of our audience, I should clarify that this is normally a 7 hour drive (even on un-restricted autobahns).

hIGGI and MATEZZ have an unnatural talent and seem to make time and space bend around a SKODA!

BTW: hIGGI, that guy wants to buy the NA motor complete, sorry!

first off, i'd like to thank you guys for posting good info about this kit for prospective buyers of it like myself.

couple o things,

1. are the bulbs in the light easy/commonly available to replace if/when needed?
2. are there good directions for wiring up the lights?
3. any way you could show a couple more pics from the rear of the kit?
4. fiberglass hmm? didn't know that. thought it wasn't for some reason. any thoughts on the strengths and durability of such a big fiberglass part? breaking, cracking that sort of thing.

Thanks again

It's gorgeous but I'm not about to swing all that coin. I'm going to make my own with Toucan halo lighting and carbon fiber canards. I've got the pre-preg in the freezer and am in the middle of purchasing fiberglass supplies. I hope to incorporate a functional, adjustable front splitter on it also. I posted a thread about this in the CDN forum but only 2 or 3 people showed interest. It will NOT be a duplicate of the RE but something along those lines, oh and with functional ducts so you can choose to directly cool your brakes if you wish. I've collected about 200 pics of front fascia's in researching this and my own experiences at the track should help. Hopefully I get it off the ground.

That purple car is pretty sweet. But why go to all the truble of transplanting a T2 motor into a vert and leave the crappy flapper-door MAF sensor from the s4 engine? <scratches head>
