that blue is a protective film that comes on acrylic plastic sheet. (plexiglass) It peels off just like the little piece of film that comes on electronic's displays.

Higgi converted his TII with an NA engine back to a TII.

I don't see what is so difficult to grasp.

I will post more details about lights later

my car is real US TII which had NA motor in when i bought it from deeperimage in Atlanta....i brought it to CZ, found wrecked TII and swapped engines, harness and ECU so its back 13BT powered....

From that wrecked euro TII i used rear seats because i needed them...i still have rear bins and i`m going to put them back.....

My taillights are 89+ US ones, i found them in junkyard somewhere around Forrest Park, GA...

I had US TII mirrors, but i broke one and had no replacement so i put on European mirror...(all european RX-7's does have those mirrors....powered or manual, foldable.....i like US ones more, so i already have 89+ aeros from US ready to go on.....)

Thanks to Inukai i got RE bumpers (one for my car, other one for friends car) for really good price without paying shipping/customs/taxes etc.....it was worth of driving 1000km's that day

uh before you go and slap that puppy on...since you said it could be up to a year before you put it on...could you consider sending it to someone to make a mould? and then maybe make a deal with that person making the mould to gie you like half of what you spent on it? or something like that hehe...just a thought.

well...how will they know you made a copy? you could always use an anonymous friend to sell the items and give them a cut for selling it under their name. but hey if the deal doesnt go through with RE-A, then i guess nothing to loose hehe full speed ahead on those moulds!! i am sure you will have a ton of buyers on this forum alone!

u don`t understand it......do u really think its good to steal idea and make copy of product of RE-A ? I think they are great shop and we all wish to have their products, cars etc....If replicas or copies will show up, it will hurt their biz and i don`t want that happen.....There is not many shops still developing products for FC's are they ? And u want to hurt one of the best ?

I`m not saint, i`m making copies of some stuff (short shift kits, dual alt pulleys and more...), software i`m using is not legal, but i`m not going to do it....

its simply not fair....

hIGGI,

I really believe RE Amemiya needs to reduce their US price to $800-$1000 by either a) finding a cheaper shipping company or b) having a local US company make them (*** cough corkspot*** )

BTW - RE Amemiya never answered my e-mail asking for US pricing And along those same lines, RUN Racing's products are EXTREEMLY expensive but I'd love to get them.

hey could you be a friend to the rx7 community and send more pics of the kit. Did it come with instructions, It's a direct bolt in right? because if it's not. then exactly what ARE we paying for. I'm seriously interested in one of these, but i'm gonna cash out the dough, if this won't fit right or it'll be half ***.

from what i was told, RE-A does have deal with Greddy/Cusco about rights to sell their products outside of Japan....and Greddy is making big markups on it so its almost impossible to sell (and make any biz at all)

I will post more pictures of fitting my kit of course....

I don`t have price of lights, but bumper without lights could not cost more than $200 (atleast not here in cz)...its not THAT perfect as i was expecting....

I actually belive i`m able to sell same bumpers from ABS (better than original fiberglass) with headlights for around $500 if it will be 100 or more pieces, but this will not happen with RE-A...

What i could sugest you guys....contact Inukai....he is what he seems to be and he is closest to RE-A shop and mr. Amemiya....

Nice vert Vaughnc :o)

How about posting that info on the lights? I'm not interested in the kit (due to insane pricing and some cosmetic things I'd want to change) I want to make my own non-pop up lights.

their web site would be much more useful if I could read it. Anyone know a source for those things and cost? Doesn't look like their just driving lights so it might be exactly what I'm after.
