IMO, you're pretty lucky.. I've seen 3 or 4 PD failure fires in real life, and all of them are MUCH worse than yours. Like, unrepairable, almost. In one of them, half the radiator was gone, the airbox was a little pile, along with the battery (note: OTHER SIDE OF CAR!). BOTH fuel rails were melted, as well as part of the TB. The extention manifold didn't look so good either, but i think it was still air-tight... The hoods on all of them were very badly warped and discoloured. The nose on one was partially melted. It was a very sad sight.

You can also do it like this

Hopefuly I'll get it back together and everything will be ok .....

If I didn't have a fire extinguisher my car would of been trashed because there is no way that fire was going to burn itself out.

later tonight I'll post a vid of what happens to your RX-7 when the pulsation damper fire that you don't get the hose on fast enough.
