rx-117 pointed this out in another post.
I had seen the photoshop pics of they're GTC kit, but here's some actual photos.
Has anyone "pre-ordered" one of these ?? Apprently there's 2 styles - with FC turn lamps & with FD turn lamps.
Looks like they're removing several 2 inche sections to fit it onto an FC and riveting the sections together. I'm assuming they'll fill in the sections in with bodyfiller and make a mold of the setup below so the final product will be seamless.

and here's a few of the fender flairs they sell.
I'd imagine the www.mariahmotorsports.com one's are a bit more extreme than these, but both should let you fit in larger tires.

the opening on top is for a front mount intercooler. some cores are taller than the opening on the front of an FC, so some frontends have small vents like that one above to let more of the intercooler core get airflow. i plan on doing that to my car, except im going to cut a larger horizontal vent in an 89 up nose.

Yes the group buy is definately closed. I was the first on the list as I helped Chuck with the final design of the kit. It took a while, but we ended up getting enough people to put in deposits for the bumper to be created... Many problems came about, but they are being worked out. They went through 2 stock fc bumpers trying to mold the bumper to it... So they ended up buying a RE Amemyia bumper (i believe) and molding it to that, because of the full wrap around to the wheel well. The erebuni kit would not line up good enough, and the border front end didnt go to the wheel wells, so they had to special order the bumper to finish the new design.
If you dont like the big openings in the front... just fill them up with useful items. Like an intercooler.

Anyone know how much it costs now that the GB is over? I almost joined the pre-order, but then I decided to wait till I saw the finished product, and hear feedback from people who own it.
