You have inadvertantly done me a favor. I rummaged around it all my junk in the shed and came up with a first generation hub with the pulleys on it. So I installed that one on my spare engine and the keyways are the same as on second generation.
But the way this did me a favor, is that first gen marks are a zero and twenty degrees, not the five and fifteen found on the second generation. This is a help because I've developed a method of finding exact TDC without taking the engine apart or following those INcorrect instructions on finding TDC that are on this forum.
So I put my spare pulley on and found TDC using my oil displacement method. Then removed that spare pulley and installed the first gen pulley. The TDC marks matched like a champ.
I was on the verge of buying a RB pulley to prove my method of finding EXACT TDC was good or not. KInda costly at 65-85 bucks a pulley/hub.

well it was easy finding the correct mark the new one made it start, rev and misfire so the stock mark is correct as for the flywheel i have no idea why the key slot is not aligned with the front . on the other hand i did a compression test finally and unfortunately front is 45-45-75 and rear 60-60-60 instead of the 100 all faces i was told from P.O. so now time to get a rebuild kit for the seals and see whats up with the e-shaft i'll take pics when apart .
