Pic: My new (used) black Konig Impacts on my red 88 'Vert!

Well, I am so excited about my new rims, I had to post a crappy pic.

Car is a stock 88 RX7 'Vert, for now.
Rims are 17x7.5" Konig Impact, 42mm offset, 21 lbs each.
Tires are Kumho 712 215/40, 235/40

Got them off my MR2 roomie. They fit pretty good - not perfect, but pretty good. Pimpin' street rims, and they change the attitude of the car fo' sho'! I'm going to get some sticky tires for the 'Vert rims for autox/track events.

Best part was the price - CHEAP! :P

BIG pic, so I'll link it - I think it's 1600x1200 (CRAPPY pic, sorry, better ones coming when the car's cleaned up)!

Here ya go!

I love 'em.

-Jacob

(Edited to include resized pic)

I didn't want the big *** pic on the post, that's why I posted the link - I've edited the post to include a link to both the bigass pic, and a smaller, more dial-up friendly 400x300 pic. Same pic, same crappy quality, but it gives you an idea at least.

I mostly just posted this to show off because I'm happy about the rims (trust me, if you had the same deal offered to you, you'd take it too), and to answer questions about fitment which ALWAYS seem to pop up on here. Hopefully, I've helped someone out!

Cheap. Put it this way...if I sold the 'Vert rims, I'd have less in the whole car than the rims/tires were new.

DK - thanks!

Pip - agreed, but for now, it handles really well, and I think I'm going to autocross it in a stock class for awhile, so lowering springs would knock me out...I'll probably keep it "highered" for awhile, and get some NICE suspension later - after the motor swap, paint, and interior.

True, but I'd be stripping that awful matt paint off and either picking a nice colour or (more likely) clear-coating the aluminium. Black wheels (especially matt black) do nothing for me.

Cloud- very clean s4 vert-
But I agree with NZ.

I guess I am a purist, but I can't see why anyone in their right mind would get rid of the BBS rims- so light, and so sexy...

speaking of cheap, im getting some new rims too. came off of a Mits. Eclipse 2004 16" for $200 USD including tires!!

A friend works at a tire warehouse said the guy got 17" ones. They just want to get rid of the 16" rims

i think they look really good!! And once you lower you car, even better!!
Only thing i recommend is, paint the caliper/rotor even if its just sliver, so that there isnt any rust or anything like that. I hate seeing nice wheels displaying some rusty rotors.
