Seems like alot of people think this, the round to square differences, the bumper does have sharp edges to it, more than the RE Amemiya bumper that everyone would kill their own dog for. Not saying that the GTC bumper looks better than it, but it is very similar styling and everyone seems to hate it? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to turn around and say the Amemiya is wicked sweet....I dont see how that makes any sense.

I definitely like the overall shortness of nose- compared to RE Amemiya and Bomex.
The part I didn't like was the border between the bottom of the 99 spec lights and the top of the brake ducts. It didn't come back out to the overall level of the bumper from what I remember.
I was waiting to see how that area looked on a painted car, but the black car makes it impossible to see that subtle stuff.
Can you post some very light pics of it, even if some parts look too bright? Thanks :-)

I have the same bumper. I too took one of the first batch but my friend who makes kit cars will help me fix some of the problems. IMO i think the kit looks good. I like the JDM look so i went for it. I did think about getting the AMEMIYA 2K kit but it cost alot.
INITIAL D do you think the BOMEX sides will look good with the GTC bmper?..i went to SS5 and saw this black FC from Vegas with the full BOMEX and i really love the sides. What do you think???..
For all the haters.. Some people have different taste. Some loves stocks and some wants to stand out from the rest. Reason i love this bumper is for its big mouth for my FMIC.

I don't hate it, I'm not sure If I like it either. The car isn't bright enough (and the lighting sux) to really see the lines.
I forgot to mention in my previous post (but someone has now) it needs side skirts (and maybe a rear bumper too?). The lines don't quite work. has a lower front than the rest.
I'd like to see the final product, one with sideskirts, and also better pics (preferably a brighter color car).
And, The Re Amemiya Kit is a nice comprimise for the FC. Although it's round, it still has some squareness to it, and doesn't have the front end lower to the ground than what this front end appears to be. Plus I like the light conversion on it. Can that light setup be done (easily) without having to change the front end to the amemiya kit?

This bumper does sit lower than the stock, but then again, the stock bumper sits too high in comparison to the sides... This bumper is maybe an inch lower than the sides... i am still undecided what to do for sideskirts, might just grab the corksport ones cuz they are cheap. Bomex would probably look good too, i dont really like the front or rear of the bomex... talk about round...
The car looks like a 944 stock
, and im not tryin to look like an fd... cuz if i was, i would, well uhh, you know, buy one.
To me it looks like a 944, or an FC trying to be an FD.

The lines don't match up. Round to square. Dunno, not for me though.
