Smile Photos of the GTC style bumper on a FC

I know some of you guys are waiting for the 2nd Gen GTC style bumper fitted on a car and painted. Here are a few phots from Chris's car.

This bumper is from the first batch. The new ones are almost done.

Hmmm...some views I like some I don't. I guess I'd have to see it in person. Good job with the fiberglass though.

The nose appears to have a "divot" in it, has that been corrected in the latest batch?

We need better shots (no offense), but the car is too dark to get a good view from the wooded area (great for a photo shoot though!!!). If you could roll out to the parking lot or something with more light and a few angles...like ground view.

could you get some better lighted pictures maybe? on a black car it makes it hard to distinguish some of the lines of the bumper.

It looks ok. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like the bumber is lower @ the front than the side of the car so they Curved it up to match the lines of the car. I'm hoping it's just my eyes.
Plz get some better lighting for the pics.

Personally, I don't think it suits the car. The bumper makes me think "FD wannabe." The FC is a bad *** looking car, and doesn't need to look like anything else.

Although, it could look a lot better if it were a bit longer maybe, it slants to much from the rest of the front.

But it does look ok in some angles. I'd have to see some better pics.

Dustin

Is that an Initial D sticker on the side?????

I think the bumper looks good, but tone down the splitter as it comes up the side, it comes up too far.

It just doesn't work for me...

The lines don't match up. Round to square. Dunno, not for me though.

Thanks man, yeah ill try and get better lit pictures, i just took a couple shots at my house for Chuck. Im tryin to get this thing ready for Monsens bbq on Sunday. I'm starting to like the look of the drift wheels, I might put 2 of my solid black rims in the front and leave those in the back. Gotta get ready for the drift competition in March... Being held at www.racewaypark.com as far as i know.

Is that an Initial D sticker on the side?????
Hell yes, i put that sticker on when i bought it, 3 years ago.

Not to pick on you, just usin your quote...

Seems like alot of people think this, the round to square differences, the bumper does have sharp edges to it, more than the RE Amemiya bumper that everyone would kill their own dog for. Not saying that the GTC bumper looks better than it, but it is very similar styling and everyone seems to hate it? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to turn around and say the Amemiya is wicked sweet....I dont see how that makes any sense.

Looks a bit warped or something in a few of the shots... And the paint doesnt look like it matchs too much either (no offense to whoever owns that). I think if you are going to be selling the bumper, make a full kit. It looks kinda funny with just the bumper.

Like chuck was saying, this was one from the first batch, the ones that didnt line up well. The new mold is almost complete and will not have the imperfections that this one has. I took one of the bad batch for a reason, the paint doesnt match because i painted it myself, and i didnt sand it totally smooth on the top because, well, it is not a show car, so why should i spend thousands of dollars in body work and paint jobs. When day to day driving ***** it all up anyway. I wanted something that looked good and got more air to my intercooler.
