I assume that was a joke but the tires should match for both sides (like RL and RR need to be the same but they can be different then FL and FR). Anyway nice car and bryantho stop being a dick, he is obviously spending money on better things other then appearance. I wouldn't call him a ricer. Damn what woman would put a race bar and recaros in her car? (yea i know theres a couple women on the forum but i assume shes not as smart as the 7club women cause she sold the damn thing for $500!) That's pretty damn cool !

whats wrong with drifting. its not like I dream to be the next American in D1. I just want to learn how its done, so that it can improve my grip driving. I want to know that I can push the car beyond limits and safely be able to bring it back and controll it. I just want to be a better driver and know the limits of my cars.

Then take a real driving school and start open tracking.

Drifting is for high school kids.

oh thats cool then lol but why would u sell a car that nice for $500? Oh well u got an awesome deal

Yeah, I guess you make a good point. But, drifting...
yea i wouldn't use nice street rims (those 17'' bbs rims are nice tho... for drifting, or nice tires for that matter, they get beat up! Now if it was for a street car then matching would be important (for looks) but most people run those black steel wheels with no hubcaps for drifting...well from what ive seen anyway .

Take a performance driving or racing school. You'll learn to take your car to its limits, and bring it back from a loss of traction. You'll also learn other basics of driving, i.e.: how and when to brake and throttle, how to improve your "vision," and the mystical and magical line.

Drifting is a popularized bastardization of racing. Despite how "cool" and "controlled" a driver can make a skid, it's honestly not the ultimate in car control.

good job....looks nice so far, but The tach is useless IMO.....the stock tack is plenty big and you wont need the extra RPM readings uless you have ported the engine........so far it looks good though....congrats.

engine will be ported with new engine. I need to move the tach to where I can see it. the smaller steering wheels gives me less of a view of the cluster.

Driving school, HPDE, Drift Days are all in my future. Just relax guys.

First I would like to mention that this thread has gone to ****!

I Think you are off to a good start those are some solid numbers! And you will need to do alot of work to make her a good drift car.

As for this assinine statement... do you think drift drivers are in high school? common they make big $$$ and it is a proffession... Drifting is as much tallent and skill as it does to race an F1 if not more so!

And for the rest of you if you told him what you think Good whether it be good or bad... but don't keep badgering him! I would like to see what each one of you has done!

What a load of horseshit. "...as much tallent[sic] and skill as F1 if not more so!" How could you honestly try to sell such a ridiculous assumption? Ironically, you misspelled asinine, profession, and talent -- a good enough indicator of your ignorance.

I'll tell you what, drifting may not be F1, but it is FUN, and thats what driving is about, having FUN. He isn't trying to earn money or be a professional driver, he's trying to have FUN. Have any of you flamers tried drifting? I did it in my 86 benz and it was the most fun driving experience I've had. Yes I truely suck at drifting (hey maybe it was the car ) but I had a good time and that's what counts !

Yeah don't flame drifting.
I understand it's NOT RACING!!! I do it because it's fun and does take skill. You can't deny it doesn't either.

I would love to go to Bondurant here in AZ but it's like over 1k for the street saftely crap or something.

Anyways. Back on Topic.
Nice car. Very cool mods. The Tach is a little useless but to each his own.

Anyways.

Well sorry I don't SPELL CHECK or rewrite my posts... I wasn't aware we had to have perfect spelling and gramar for a message board.
Ignorance is you telling me I am ignorant of race car driving when I have lots of time arround several tracks... do you?

Good stuff.....lol.

Keep the dream alive my brother.
It is not a dream I know the tallent and work envolved in circuit racing... I do IT! I have also tried drifting... it is also challenging! I don't mean a simply drift arround a parkng lot... I am talking high speed drifting arround a track... not circle or oval... a circuit!

Next time you guy's go arround and try... Telling somone how it is... Think twice about what you are saying and to whom... if you have more experience in the matter then go hard... but if you don't then don't try... in this case I would be willing to wager large amounts of money that I have far more track time than either of you!

Now if you wish to persue this further.. go ahead... but PM me I would be more than happy to disprove your guy's somewhat a little less publicly... and it won't pollute enrique's thread any further.

Good Luck fellas proving to the world you aren't indeed morons!
