perhaps a tps problem?
I started my car today for the first time in 6 months. It idles strong at 1500-1600 rpms, and will sometimes drop dowm the 850-900 rps fit i rev it up and let off. I am wondering if this has to do w/ the tps. if so how should i adjust it and is it located beneath the intercooler
My specs are 3" turbo back, s4 stock turbo, s4 engine, stock tid, bv, bc, safc.

I havent tried the bac valve yet, i started her up again to day and after bout a min or two the rpms drop from 1600 to 1100 rpms. I checked the thrttle cable and it isnt tight, but doesnt exacty have much slack either. Also when i first stared the car my s-afc read 17% throttle, when it dropped in revs the throttle % dropped to 0.0%. Aso when i rev it up it will dropp back down to a steady 1100 rpms idle. Do i just need to adjust the tps or bac valve?

Is the SAFC connected to the tps or is it connected to the pressure sensor?
If it's connected to the tps, then there is something keeping the throttle plates open, such as the thermowax.
If the SAFC is connected to the pressure sensor.........that is of no help in figuring out what is wrong.
Sometimes a bac,due to dirt will not fully return to its lowest opening. You have to pull the bac off and pour some carb cleaner in it and wash it out. Turn the key to ON, and with the bac removed, reconnect it's electrical plug. It will vibrate. Pour carb cleaner in and wash out. Reinstall and see if that helps.

I did not install the s-afc, it was installed when i bought the car, Ho do i find out weather or not its wired to the tps or not?. Its probably because the flaps might not be closing completely within the tb.

I am pretty sure that is the bac valve because when i turn the wheels it will sometimes drop to 850rpms, which is good. But as soon as i rev it at all past 1500 it wont drop past 1500. unless it idles for a little bit, then it will drop to 1100rpms.i going to clean it out and then check
