I see your point:
Using Pennzoil 10/30
3000/28=107gallonsfuel*128=13714ounces
857:1 is the actual ratio

Using Castrol GTX 10/30
3000/28=107gallonsfuel*128=13714ounces
(32oz of oil w/in 3000 miles)
428:1 is the actual ratio
*It seems that the flash point is much lower then the Pennzoil
*I am going to flush and fill with Castrol (today)

In regards to the question if I drive it HARD enough.......that is an understatement. I dont drive it soft enough. Every chance I get, this 6-port gets a redine every day. I currently have 24k miles on this engine, w/in 10 months of HARD driving.
My buddy (old Spec Racer) hooks me up w/ NGK's (P's). I change my plugs every 10K. This is one part on how I monitor fouling.
In regards to my OMP, I last chk'd the stepping motor when this block was install (last October). I did not do a flow test, a friend did a "hot-wire" test to see if was still running.
In regards to the O2, I might also have an issue with it. I bought one the other day. The one on the car is a Bosch, replaced by the previous owner. I was going to test it but, decided just to replace it.
I am also going to replace the ECU temp sensor at the same time. I believe it is the original one. I am going to buy a Kel brand.
deadRX7Conv. Now that was what I wanted to read. Thanks for your input!

Opinions are like........
I look at your math. You get 28mpg
Geez, when I break 22mpg I jump for joy. Maybe I need to shift up more often
Hey Banzai, I've owned several cars(certified lemons) that easily hit 200k on the original motors The secret are your magic words "quality + change often".

Funny you mentioned smell....
Funny thing....Pennzoil smells total different when burned then Castrol and the other brands. I believe it is the additives.
