What do you guys think? I am eliminating the pop up lights, and building a whole new hood.

not too bad. i dont want to knock your design, but it kinda looks like a fish out of water to me. if it suits your tastes though, go for it. its your car, make it look like you want it to.

Is this going to be an original or are you planning on making more for possible buyers?

Rear end... No mufflers for clarity...
I can't draw the side skirts the way I picture them in my mind... It just won't come out right.
And remember, these are quick drawings (less than 5 mins each), this will all be worked out on the car.

That looks awesome. I have a lot of respect for free thinkers, like yourself. Will that fron be made from scratch or modded from another vehicle? The nose is long and aggressive sorta like a 90+ 300Z. Make that happen!!! You the man!

As for making more, I'm talking to liquid anarchy about making them in carbon fiber... The reason the "mouth" is so wide is because I am getting a big-*** FMIC and I also want to incorporate a cold air box under the front right headlight... The three small circles under each headlight and again on the back bumper are the turn signals... I thought it would be cool to have three small lights rather than the giant lenses... Just to be different... Plus you could have an option of having them light all at once or in sequence when you are turning... The headlights will be under glass/lexan/whatever...

Edit:
The spoiler I drew on there is not the final product... What I am thinking is something very similar to the stock spoiler, just a bit wider and adjustable... I will throw a pic of that up tomorrow...

And I'm spent.

Hats off to you for being original. Hope it turns out good.

That being said, that kit is a total 180 from the design of the FC. It just doesnt fit the rest of the design. I love your style, but you need to design a whole car around that front/rear. THAT would be one sweet body for a supercar. But on an FC its a totally different story.

Ahh the hell with it, who needs sleep... Here's the updated rear spoiler.
Thanks for all the compliments.
As for designing a supercar, you should see some of my REALLY out there designs.

Email them to me. I really like your style, just dont think the one fits well with the rest of the FC body. But I think you should draw that front/rear into a full supercar. I think it would look killer.

all the pic look really good, and not to rain on your designs but you might want to rethink the rear. or re-design it and draw in the exhaust pipes. not to be picky but yeah really cool designs, i hope you do it and please share the pics with the rest of us.

Yeah, the rear is ok, but the molds will be built "on" the car, so I can fine tune it as I go. The front end will be a bastard, the spoiler should be fairly simple, the rear... I'm thinking the bumper surround will be two pieces, and the new tail lights will be one piece... I am still trying to figure out how to work in the back-up lights... I was thinking small circular lights in the center of the taillights, kinda like a ferrari... We'll see... If anyone has any ideas they want to kick in, or anything they would like to see adjusted, let me know.

And mazdaspeed, you don't even want to know what I already have planned for an FD when this is finished... If you think these designs are unusual... Maybe I can throw up the FD tomorrow...

ACk there are soo many kits for FDs let them fend for themselves. I really like your ideas for a rear. I would like to work on a rear diffuser when I finish with my FMIC. The big whale tale looking wing looks killer. If yo could fabricate replicas I would get one. I puttied my stock ones holes. I like it clean, but that whale tail could make its self at home on my car. I like your look for the taillights. I broke the 90 ones off my 90TII and I have on s4 ones. They are ok and will not spend what everone charges for the s5 ones. I would spend more on something like your sketch. Wow I hope you go though on you ideas.

Not too many bridges where I live...
Also, that's just the drawing... The finished product will be higher off the ground, my car scrapes driveways as it is stock.

Wow, i like the rear bumper alot, and the second wing is badass, but the front just seems to round for me, and makes me think 300zx, very nice idea though, and if it comes though i deffiently want some pics

I think I will do the wing first, since it seems the easiest... If it comes out alright, I will see about making copies.

I think you should make some "corners" on the front, just to make it follow the lines of the car.

How hard do you think it would be to make the wing electronically adjustable? Or should I just keep it simple?

I'm not really sure. But the older style VR4s had an adjustable spoiler. If you could find a wrecked one you could pull the motor/assembly to use on your car. Just an idea.

VW Corrado's had electronically adjustable spoilers as well. can't forget porcshe. as corny as it sounds dude, set your mind to it and you'll do it.

Nothing personal, I just enjoy being the devils advocate

What are you going to do about the bumper? That front leaves NO room for the stock bumper, and removing it is very unsafe for a street car, not to mention very illegal.
