Heck, it's the least I could do.
You are providing a very entertaining show and getting a nice upgrade on your FC to boot.

That doesn't look too damn bad Snowball. I'm really really impressed. I know you can't really get the full effect without seeing it in person, but the real question is are you impressed with the turnout?

If I was gonna spray a car, I would personally use a real spray setup. The Wagner idea was kind of a "what if" idea, I'm not saying I would do it, or if it would work very well. What I had in my head was IF you could get a light enough even coat, the paint is already very thin, so it might work out. Then again, I wouldn't paint my car with a roller either. Hell, I don't even like painting walls with rollers.

So, NOW you would use a real spray setup, instead of 'banging knuckles in your dirty garage and driveway with what tools you have?' You must now have a 'pocket full of cash and a full on mechanic for a best friend who happens to have a fully equipped shop'. :
And you want someone else to try your idea on their car? Aw, come on. I really wanted to see your FC with a Wagner paint job.
So, I guess that means no bet?

its not perfect yet, but from what i can tell theirs no reason that i cant make it perfect with some more sanding and polish.

Well good luck with that. I have all of that stuff off. I would assume you're not doing the mirrors? Maybe I'll take off my passenger side mirror and give it a go.

maybe i agree with what hes doing as ive owned 3 fc's and one of them was beat up and never had the money to get it painted so it stayed beat up looking, soooo now that i have a fd i dont really have to worry about it but its commendable that he had the gusto to do it with all these people saying he was dumb.

Nice grammar, and no ****. I never said I would paint mine with a wagner, and I never inferred that anyone should. I was wondering if it would be possible, given the circumstance. It was a "thought". Big word, I know, and understanding English is even harder apparently.

Nest yo' will criticize me for mi Speling.
You are really just too much fun!
But seriously (ok, but not way too seriously), you wanted someone else to try your idea, aka 'thought'. When you verbalize or in this case type a thought in a how-to thread you are definitely beyond merely inferring that someone should try your 'thought'. Otherwise, why would you even say it? Other members were starting to jump on your suggestion. Don't pretend otherwise. And of course it is possible to paint a car with a Wagner. It is just a bad idea; admit it and you will feel all better. Get over the pride thing and quit stewing. If it is not such a bad idea, paint your car, track your time and money and then maybe I will owe you a beer. Or not. A pretty simple proposal to which you can say yes or you can say no, thank you.
Regarding reading comprehension: If reading comprehension were so important to you, you would already know the type of roller that is being used. Hint: The type is mentioned in the thread. Read and comprehend.
Here is my thought. No, let us not mince words. Here is my suggestion. Why don't you focus on on:
A) Learning something while you are here (that would excercise your reading comprehension) or
B) Contributing something of value to the thread (that would be more than a 'thought') or
C) Overcoming your issues with denial or
D) Painting your car with the Wagner or
E) All of the above
May I remind you that you jumped on me for merely addressing your Wagner sprayer 'thought' in the light of some practical experience. You have now analyzed my mind, assessed my financial situation, inspected my garage for cleanliness (and everyone else's garage as well), lauded my knuckles as virgin and unbashed, elevated my friend to mechanical sainthood, criticized my reading comprehension and worst of all you picked on my Grammar (who can lick your grammar any day of the week). You even accuse me of being way too serious.
Do you want to call it quits or do you prefer that we continue this discussion?

Snowball is a hero. It takes a lot of nerve to attempt this publicly with pics facing so much early critical comment. There may be a down side a couple of years from now, but there is no doubt the car is better off, better looking and is a visual knockout compared to before.
And snowball has the pride of accomplishment knowing he did this with an unproved method.
Kudos to Snowball.
