Painted my vert rims, turned out **REALLY** good
I take automotive technology, and our shop has basically everything in it, so i decided to strip one of my stock rims of the balancing weight, valve stem, and tire, so i can sand it down completely, polish the lip, primer/paind/clearcoat the spokes.
Needless to say, it turned out so damn good..

Time to do the rest, buy my new suspension, and stick them on the vert. I sold my 17inchers over this look.
PS, unfortunately, my webspace has been...removed? so if somebody could host it thatd be cool, if not, just use the link above

I did the same to my vert rims. I also have a black FC. We did them somewhat 'ghetto-ish' for now but once I get a new paint job on her I am going to get them painted with car paint...or some other paint that will look better and last longer. Those are really nice by the way. I just love the look of it. Your lip looks really nice also. Mines ever since I got it have had minor break dust stains....I got some out but there is a really stubborn one.

What are your plans regarding the center cap?
I have a set of vert rims for DD on my TII and I've been thinking about doing the same as you. I was looking at the center cap myself and I think painting the whole thing would be too dark. I was thinking about painting the sopked background portion but then leaving the center hex part silver. Hope that makes sense.
Great job man!
