Its not always easy to understand me ofcoarse.
I did not bash anyones car I simply stated what I thought. Its a forum so we can talk you know
What I see as rice is normally "cool" to other people. But most of those people I see poking fun at others which they call ricers. "The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.

I loves the stock look of all the RX-7's aswell.
I can't afford everything for my car either but I use a philosophy when I buy things. They better make me have fun or get me closer to having fun with my car. Just about every cosmetic thing I can do to my car that has nothing to do with maintenance is not going to do that so I don't do it. I know people do not all follow this but I do. It works for me so I try to see if other people get anything from it by telling them about it.
I did not afford my intake I just fabricated it. It was done so that I would get the most out of my intake. I don't know what you see of it as "bling" if you could explain that.
The fact that I own my car and it is my money gives me the right to put in velvet seats and get spinner hubcaps but I care a little more for the image of all of our cars and keeping them on the good side and not going to the rice side. I just do not like to see things done to our cars that look tacky. Sometimes people disagree but oh well.
I can see why you all do not like it but that does not change my thoughts on these things. This thread was meant to get oppinions so I gave mine people disagreed so I kept talking about it. If people get angry about my views all you have to do is put me on "ignore" and you will not see my posts any longer. Simple as that. I did not insult anyone atleast not on purpose. Its like someone trying to keep a "peacefull" demonstration from getting violent its only for our collective good that we stay away from the "bad". Atleast thats the way I feel.


I know a lot of you people that think I should get a life and what not but this is what I do in my spare time and I have a lot of it. If you do not want to hear me then put me on your ignore list and i'll be gone from your screens. I did not call anyone names or "flame" anyone and there are no rules about "postewhoring" so give it a rest Jarret you should really grow up and get over yourself and your own problems its not my fault what happened.

Would you not protect and fight for your good name? Our cars are special I beleive that whole heartedly and I will fight pretty damn hard to keep that true. I do not want people to see our cars as most people now see hondas as little POS cars that are made to look like crap because of immitation and the strive to be "cool." The more we remain independant from that image the better chance that our cars will be treated in a good manor by future owners of them and not like hondas. Do you like to see FC's or any 7 for that matter with a crap load of stickers huge chrome wheels and an aluminum wing? I don't, it lowers the value of our cars and makes them more likely to be wrecked and abused. Its like protecting one of your own and that is how I see each and every rx-7 out there, as a part of the family. That is why I care because its like your hurting my little brother or my cousin its just not right in my mind.

Do you really think that this has something to do with MY PROBLEMS? Man, you really are dense. I could give a crap about some side view mirrors, I got Aero ones the next day, at a lower price.

Now:

First you said that painting rims is "Rice", even though they have been painting rims black long before the pervasion of the import scene. How is it that if I feel like painting my rims black (which I did) I just became a ricer? You use that term like a flame (read INSULT), hence it becomes inflammatory, and upsets me and others. Oh, and by the way, my calipers are painted white too. Guess that makes me a double ricer.

Second,

I take it you didnt know that the term "Jap" is a racial slur, did you? From Websters:

The pure fact of the matter is your only claim to fame on this board is an uncanny ability to parrot other people's responses in order to make yourself look good. Am I the only one that remembers the time you started offering Turbo II tuning advice when you never even owned one before? But it sure improved that post count, didnt it?
