Paint suggestions

My 87 RX7 is at the point where I'm either going to let it fall apart slowly or give it some love like it needs. So, I'm looking to get a nice paint job...well, as nice as I can get for $2,000. Any suggestions on where to go in the ATL area?

The guys over at Mazcare suggested I go to Sentry out in Lilburn. I stopped out there today for a quote, and they said a "standard" paint job would be about $2,200. Judging by the looks of some work I saw they had done, their version of standard looks pretty darn good, I'd say...very impressive work.

I also got a quote from MAACO in alpharetta for their "high-end" job. They were very friendly, etc., and I told them I'd heard horrible things about them, and they said that's only their low-end stuff. They say their high-end job is good quality...Their quote was $1,500.

I should point out that in both cases, they were also including the cost of banging the dents out from the front right fender, where my car rolled and hit that mailbox (when I ripped of the molding).

Bottom line is I'm not looking or able to spend a crapload, but I would like a paint job that I can be happy with. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you guys might have.

(NOTE: I accidentally posted this at the back-end of an earlier thread in the classifieds section. Sorry in advance for the double-post.)

Hmmmm I may be wrong about this been awhile since I have been out of state. But isnt Godfather customs near ATL. If so ask them were they got there truck painted the one that is always out front. I think it is accually right down the road from that shop, I just cant remember the name of the place. They do awsome work the way it is has to be done.

They did an estimate to do a custom paint job on my dads semi and it was in the ballpark of 10k. But that is with custo flames and about 5gal of paint. He didnt get it done but that was the estimate they gave him. It should be around 2500 for a nice single color from them.

http://godfathercustoms.com/ thats there shop sry if I was wrong and taking up space.
