P/N Help
the fat hose coming off the ACV (or that area)...this is an S5 vert...it has some sort of check valve or muffler thing in the middle of it...then routes to below the radiator.
I haven't take the car apart before, and I'm new to FCs...
my belt/pulley has worn a hole into this check valve/muffler thing...can someone post a link to the FSM so I can look for the P/N or if you have it handy post the P/N.
could this failure cause the AUX port actuators not to function??? It seems the car lacks power in the upper rpms...but its been awhile since I've riden in a NA 13B![Wink](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
TIA

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
That line is a muffler/vent line for when the ACV dumps the air pump output.
You don't even need the hose. It is simply there to lower the noise of the air pump.
The aux ports and VDI are hooked up (through solenoids) to the input side of the ACV.
If the ACV failed, and there was always output on the vent line then the aux ports and VDI might not work (but I doubt it) due to a lack of air pressure.
and your signature picture is in violation of forum rules... too big... please fix it before an admin sees it and deletes it without any further warning.
